It’s almost hard to believe that it’s only been a year since we began producing the HyperFast Agent Podcast. In just 12 months, we’ve made over 100 episodes of this amazing podcast and met some of the world’s most incredible real estate, media, and marketing experts. We’ve learned a lot, and we’ve helped a ton of people learn even more! Our rapid growth has allowed us to host several live events and get the opportunity to work with thousands of agents from all across the country. It has been a truly incredible year, and I can’t thank you enough for being there with us through it.
To be honest, this is making me sort of nostalgic — so to celebrate our first year in podcasting, here’s a list of the Top 10 episodes of the HyperFast Agent podcast!
Number 10 — Finding the Right Mentor with Grant Cardone
We’re starting our list back at our second episode, guest-starring speaker and author Grant Cardone! Grant is the world’s #1 sales trainer and a renowned influencer. We spoke with Grant Cardone about how to find the right mentor to grow your business — and how to avoid turning someone who doesn’t know what they’re talking about into your mentor!
There’s a reason that Grant is the world’s #1 sales trainer: he knows how to learn from people, and how to find the people that you should learn from! Check out the episode below to refresh your memory and learn from the best.
Fun fact: This episode debuted on Valentine’s Day — fitting, given how much we love Grant Cardone and all of the actionable strategies that he has given us over the years.
Number 9 — How to Grow your Business on Instagram with Tristan Ahumada
Our guest on this episode, Tristan Ahumada, is most famous for creating and growing the largest real estate-centered Facebook group — but he’s a master of Instagram, too! Tristan saw that most agents were using Instagram inefficiently, if they were even using it at all. That’s why he decided to share the secrets that he used to expand his Instagram presence and to grow his real estate business alongside that!
Here’s one of my favorite things that he explained: unlike Facebook, and some other online spaces, Instagram has a comparatively young audience. Almost every agent struggles to get young people to do business with them — but Instagram allows Tristan to market himself and his business to a younger audience without seeming insincere!
To hear what other secrets Tristan shared with us, check out the episode below:
Hot Tip — you’re going to love what he has to say about using effective Calls to Action on Instagram!
Number 8 — Become the Digital Mayor of your town
Keri is frequently invited to speak at events, and for great reason! She is a fantastic public speaker who is eager to share her expertise with the people who are dedicated enough to attend live events. In this special podcast episode, we gave you a look at one of Keri’s talks, that she hosted at the Lab Coat Agents Live event in beautiful San Diego, California.
We’ve found that a ton of agents know that they need to be utilizing the power of video content, but are still reluctant to get in front of the camera. There’s two main reasons for this:
- A lot of real estate agents are self-conscious
- A lot of agents don’t know where to begin — or they have tried and haven’t seen the results that they wanted
If you are too afraid to leverage the possibilities of online video content (or if you are making the wrong kind of videos), you are missing out on the chance to rapidly expand your business. So make sure to check out Keri’s strategies for how to kill it on video and become the digital mayor of your town!
Plus: Keri tells some stories about Tony Robbins and Gary Vee — two of our favorite speakers — that reveal some pretty shocking information…make sure to check it out!
Number 7 — Neel Dhingra teaches you to be different online
With how important online marketing is for real estate professionals these days, it can be very hard to set yourself apart from the pack. That’s why I was so excited to speak with Neel Dhingra about his strategies for differentiating yourself in the online world! Neel is a top 10 lender whose team did $100 million in business in 2018. He and his business survived the market collapse and re-expanded, thanks to Neel’s adaptability and effective online marketing tactics.
Neel stresses (and I agree!) that it is absolutely critical to learn how to brand yourself online. This doesn’t just mean having a snazzy logo — you need to consistently create online content and value to increase your digital footprint and set yourself apart from the crowd.
If you want to learn the rest of what Neel has to say about creating an effective online brand, check out the episode below.
Plus: Neel tells us how he managed to get an interview with Gary Vaynerchuk — can you guess how he did it?
Number 6 — Use Video to be the Community Expert
If you know anything about me and Keri, you probably have seen us talking about community expertise. It’s our goal to be the definitive experts on our local community, and not just in real estate!
Think about it — real estate agents are connectors. It’s our job to connect someone who wants to buy a home with someone who wants to sell a home. We spend all day building a web of connections and relationships…so we should have a pretty good handle on the community!
It can be hard to let people know about your expertise, though — which is why we were so excited to speak with Rett Harmon, a master of using video content to become the mayor of his town. Keri sat down to chat with Rett about how he got comfortable on video and learned how to grow his business by providing community information and value to people who were interested in living there. Check out their talk below!
Rett has a genius method of branding his content to get the most business out of the videos — it’s a must-know strategy for real estate agents!
Number 5 — Dominate a New Real Estate Market (featuring Nick Baldwin)
There are a ton of real estate agents who are scared by instability. It makes sense, right? If your business is built on helping people make the most expensive decision that they will ever make, you might want for as many variables as possible to stay consistent and stable.
Do you know one of the most destabilizing events that can happen to an agent? Moving to a new market. If you move to a new city, or state, or country, you might feel like you are losing all of your sphere of influence contacts, market knowledge, and stability.
Well, that’s exactly what happened to Nick Baldwin — and he is thriving in his new market.
If you don’t know who Nick is, he is the co-founder of Lab Coat Agents, a Facebook group for real estate agents with over 90,000 members. He is also a rockstar agent in his own right, and he has a pretty incredible story about moving from his familiar market to a completely new area.
I really don’t want to spoil any of his advice, because he is so amazing at sharing his story of how he came to completely dominate a new real estate market in an incredibly short time — check out his conversation with Keri below!
Number 4 — Increase your Conversion with Online Leads with Sunshine Wilhite
Let’s be honest — a ton of real estate agents treat all their leads the same way. They do not pay enough attention to the lead source, and they risk scaring away the client! After all, if you get a lead from someone clicking on an ad because they liked the picture, and you immediately call them and try too hard close right off the bat, chances are they’re never going to want to talk to you again.
So when dealing with leads coming from the internet, you need to be smart. Luckily, we spoke with Sunshine Wilhite, who is an absolute pro at capturing and converting these online leads. Keri and Sunshine talked about the differences between traditional and online leads, in terms of warmth and timeline. They also chatted about how to generate these leads in the smartest way — because if you can’t get the leads, you can’t convert the leads! Check it out:
Plus: Sunshine is also a master of maximizing her online ad spend. Can you guess how often she adjusts her spending on each ad?
Number 3 — How to Write No-Brainer Offers with Mike Bjorkman
No matter how great your videos are, no matter how many leads you get and convert…you aren’t going to make any money if you can’t close your deals!
And you aren’t going to close any deals if you aren’t writing amazing offers! This might seem like a simple topic to cover, but there’s a reason it’s in our top 3 episodes — a lot of agents aren’t confident in their offers. Do you know why they aren’t confident?
Because they keep losing houses. And they keep losing clients.
Keri and I wanted to set a list of how to write amazing offers, which is why we spoke with Mike Bjorkman, one of the most successful agents in the country. He and Keri give their advice and strategies for writing offers that will blow away the seller and help your clients win their dream home. Check it out:
Mike told a really crazy story about what happens when puts an offer in on a home — you have to hear it to believe it!
Number 2 — 5 Pillars of Facebook Marketing Success with Travis Thom
There are two things that you absolutely need to know about Facebook as an agent…
- Facebook is an incredibly powerful marketing tool
- Most agents use Facebook in an incredibly ineffective way
In an effort to learn more about how true experts utilize Facebook, Keri spoke with marketing guru Travis Thom. Travis built a real estate empire on Facebook, then sold his brokerages to become a marketing consultant who specializes in the power of Facebook advertisements.
Travis shared his 5 pillars to creating massive success on Facebook — check them out!
And Number 1 — Grow Your Business Fast With Gary Vee’s Social Media Tactics!
Our #1 episode also happens to be episode #1 — and with good reason! Our conversation with Gary Vee completely changed how we approach our businesses and put us on the path to success. I don’t want to say too much here, because Gary said everything far better than I could imitate. Check out our conversation below:
I just want to say one thing — Gary’s attitude towards being a father and an entrepreneur is incredibly inspiring, and I think it’s a model attitude for parents everywhere. You owe it to yourself to give it a listen.
