Dan and I couldn’t be prouder of our team right now.
Not only are our agents busy serving clients in the DMV who need their help — they’re also proactively going above and beyond to help our community!
Two of our agents, Libby Bish and Rafael Merlo, recently appeared on the official White House livestream to be honored by President Trump for their philanthropy.
The appearance drew attention to their Frontline Fuel GoFundMe page, which has raised over $10,000 and counting. Frontline Fuel contributions get poured directly into local catering and sanitizer for frontline healthcare workers.
After hearing about Ashley McDougal, Libby Bish, and Rafael Merlo’s idea, I encouraged them to seek media attention to give their communities the chance to support the effort.
Upon hearing from one of their clients that many restaurants in the DMV were facing serious woes due to stay-at-home orders, Libby Bish and Rafael Melo decided to take action to help give back to the community that has given us so much. They founded Frontline Fuel, a campaign where donations are used to order food from local restaurants and deliver it to healthcare workers at hospitals around the area.
As their campaign gained steam, they were able to expand the aid they were giving to both restaurants and hospital workers, while also delivering video messages from donors to the frontline hands who are tirelessly working to keep us safe during the coronavirus outbreak.
This is why we say that success isn’t just about you.
Growing a real estate business allows you to create abundant opportunity for others; create jobs; and give back to your community.
Real estate agents are in a unique position to leverage their resources and their platforms to help during this difficult time.
We call on real estate agents everywhere: Give back to your community!
