This year we decided to do our half-year meeting offsite at Hook Hall in Northwest DC.
This has been an interesting year to say the least, so there’s a lot to review. And our team’s vision is a big one.
In this week’s vlog, come meet our team and see what we’re up to!
Our goal in 2020: 1,000 families helped!
Last year we set a goal to do 1,000 transactions in 2020 — which would set us up to become the #1 selling real estate team in 2021. Our plan was going great… and then the coronavirus hit. Lockdowns went into effect.
Our team buckled down and decided to pivot, not pause. The results have been amazing. Our marketing team has generated more leads with less people. Our ISAs are booking more appointments — and we’ve doubled our ISA count. Our agents are still getting in front of more home buyers and sellers in the middle of a pandemic — and they’re converting at a higher rate.
So how’s progress on our goal of 1,000 families helped in 2020?
Despite our team’s amazing efforts and constant optimization, we’re still a little behind on our goal to help 1,000 families buy or sell homes by the end of the year. Not far behind, but a little. Today we’re figuring out how to close the gap.
Quarterly planning meetings helped make us one of the world’s best real estate teams
Today we’re getting together for our quarterly meeting to figure out how we can close the gap.
We gather the team for these planning offsites every quarter. Before each quarterly meeting, we get together with our leadership team to plan how we’re going to close the gap between where we are now and where we want to be at the end of the year.
So today we review where we are now and the changes we need to make. We’re ready to make 2020 our best year ever, crush our goal of 1,000 homes this year, and set ourselves up to become the #1 team in 2021.
As Keri says in the vlog: One thing that stands out about our team is how we collaborate and how creative we are about thinking: “What do we need to do to accomplish our goals and not just grow 15-20%… instead, what if we want to double our business? What if we want to triple it? What if we want to be #1 in the world in sales volume next year? What steps can we take as a group today to accomplish that goal and make it reality?

Take a look at where you are currently.
Finally, project forward where you can be in 5 years.
Once you’ve done that, set up the regular meeting schedule to help you correct course, focus your efforts, and crush those big goals.
