Starting and ending your day the right way can make or break your productivity. Your mindset is ultimately what links your skillset with results, and in order to optimize your mind it’s incredibly important to establish healthy habits and rituals to help you wrap up your day and get started off on the right foot in the morning. Here are some secrets that I have found work most effectively at preparing me for my day.
After reflecting on what I’m thankful for, I will physically write them down onto paper. Hand writing is a physical act and it’s the first step to transforming thoughts that are in your mind into action and results. So first I’ll usually spend a couple minutes in silence just meditating and thinking. Then after that process I’ll write down the top three to five goals that I determined I want to accomplish.
Following my reflections I will either exercise my body or mind, be it through working out or reading a book. This will help engage my brain and body, stimulate my creativity and get me feeling fresh and upbeat and ready to conquer the day ahead.
